Our V8 race engines produce impressive power. Up to 750BHP with huge torque. But there are other benefits with a V8. As the engine is less stressed than, say, a small turbo engine, a single engine can easily last a full racing season without a rebuild. (may not be so for a smaller turbo engine for instance).
Once we know the target peak power and the customer requirement and budget, we start with the fundamentals.
- Adequate gas flow to reach the power target.
- Big valve assemblies
- Custom camshaft
- Balanced crankshaft.
- Correct rod ratio
- Correct Compression Ratio
- EFI or Carb
- Fully configurable ECU tuning and mapping facilities
- Dry sump systems
- test and configure on our dyno.
We also provide a full range of repair, rebuild and modifcation services for V8s for any application (Road, Race, Track day, Classic)
- Small and big block Chevy, LS1 and LS2.
- Ford Big Block
- European V8 - BMW, Rover, TVR, Ferrari
- Classic V8 restoration (European and American).
- Kit car engine build and installs
- Drag Racing applications.
On all our cylinder heads, we use CNC engineering to produce exactly the results we promise. These dramatic improvements in inlet and exhaust flow, together with other performance parts such as custom made camshafts (built to our design) and fully balanced crankshafts make the V8 a powerful, free revving and torquey engine. It is especially suitable for modern classic racing which is becoming very popular in the UK due to affordable cost and the competitive scene.
We can modify your existing engine to give a most pleasing road car engine. This can include CNC engineering to your own cyclinder heads or a complete rebuild to your requirement and budget. We have full Rolling Road and Engine Dyno facilities for tesing and tuning your engine in situ or on a test rig.
There are many options available to customers and we are very happy to discuss and advise on these engines.
